City Winery Project: A Hub for Culinary Innovation
The City of Rancho Cucamonga, in collaboration with National Core, is revitalizing the historic d’Ellena Winery into a City-owned, operating winery that will serve as a culinary and workforce development incubator. This project preserves a local landmark while creating hands-on training opportunities and pathways to economic mobility.
ShopRC: Encouraging Local Patronage
To boost local commerce, the city and the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce introduced ShopRC. This initiative encourages residents to support local businesses, providing owners with resources to market and promote their establishments. By fostering a strong network, ShopRC aims to keep the community vibrant and connected.
HART District: A Vision for Economic Vitality
The HART District, encompassing Haven Avenue, Arrow Route, and Rochester Avenue, is envisioned as a transit-oriented, mixed-use area. Plans include creating a walkable environment with a dynamic mix of housing, employment, dining, shopping, hospitality, and entertainment options. This development is poised to be a key economic catalyst for the region.
Through these initiatives, Rancho Cucamonga demonstrates a commitment to nurturing local entrepreneurs and enhancing the city’s economic landscape.
